The first "Multi Purpose Appliance" based upon a six-wheeled Scania 94D-300 chassis for Strathclyde Fire & Rescue Service. This vehicle not only carries water, foam, and conventional ladders but also a Vema aerial platform. This was the first example of its type to be produced, and sadly the final vehicle to be completed by Saxon. It was anticipated that production would pass to JDC in Guildford following the closure of the Saxon business.
